A cold start of the day with temperatures in the 30s and 40s
area-wide. Then, highs reach the mid to upper 50s and 60s for the
afternoon period. Light northerly winds prevail during the
morning with southerly winds taking place across the Rio Grande
in the afternoon as a high pressure system shifts to the east.
Minimum relative humidity values remain above 25 percent across
the local area today and above 30 percent for Wednesday. Rain
chances increase Wednesday afternoon/night through Friday, mostly
favoring the Coastal Plains with more uncertain chances farther
west. No fire weather concerns are expected over the week.
