.DISCUSSION...
Drier air will mean relative humidity in the 15% to 25% range
across the entire region this afternoon. Fire weather conditions
will be elevated to near critical as winds remain quite strong
out of the north to northeast this morning through early
afternoon before letting up late in the afternoon hours. The
arctic air will settle in place during much of the week with well
below normal temperatures and higher humidity levels. The chances
have increased for winter precipitation along and to the east of
the I-10 (north or San Antonio)/I-37 Monday night through Tuesday
with low chances elsewhere. Precipitation chances end by Tuesday
afternoon. A warming trend will begin Wednesday and continue
through the end of the forecast period.
