...The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio TX has issued
a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

  Llano River at Llano affecting Llano County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued late tonight by 145 AM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING TO EARLY TOMORROW
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Llano River at Llano.

* WHEN...From this evening to early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding makes secondary
  roads and low bridges in the flood plain dangerous to motorists
  including the low water crossing of Ranch Road 3404/Slab Road near
  Kingsland. Equipment should be moved from low docks and boat ties
  loosened downstream in Kingsland.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 4.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this evening
    to 11.3 feet late this evening. It will then fall below flood
    stage just after midnight tonight to 6.6 feet tomorrow
    afternoon. It will rise to 6.7 feet tomorrow evening. It will
    then fall again and remain below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    11.2 feet on 07/06/2002.
