...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 AM CST EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
  expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
  counties, Bexar, Guadalupe and Wilson.

* WHEN...Until 315 AM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1210 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Up to 2
    inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    San Antonio, Schertz, Seguin, Cibolo, Stinson Municipal
    Airport, McQueeney, St. Hedwig, Somerset, Elmendorf, La
    Vernia, China Grove, Kingsbury, New Berlin, Zuehl, Calaveras
    Lake, Sandy Oaks, Buena Vista, Adkins, Friendly Corner and
    Sayers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
