...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
  county, Fayette.

* WHEN...Until 1030 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 725 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
    ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
    Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen, with an isolated
    pocket up to 5 inches just northeast of La Grange.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    La Grange, Schulenburg, Flatonia, Fayetteville, Round Top,
    Muldoon, Mullins Prairie, Ammannsville, Holman, Swiss Alp,
    Rutersville, Rabbs Prairie, Dubina, O`Quinn, Plum, Freyburg,
    Ellinger, High Hill, Walhalla and Warrenton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
