The following message is transmitted at the request of the New
Mexico State Police and Luna County Emergency Management.

New Mexico State Police are requesting residents and motorists
Shelter in Place due to impacts from recent weather conditions in
the area. The following road closures are currently in place:

Interstate 10 from MM 93 to 132
Hwy 26 from Deming to Hatch
Hwy 11 from MM 33 to Columbus
Hwy 549 in its entirety

Motorists can park in the following locations:

Mimbres Valley Learning Center
2300 East Pine Street
Deming, NM 88030

North Country Club Road
Deming, NM 88030
