...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN OTERO COUNTY
THROUGH 930 PM MDT...

At 900 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles north of McGregor Range Base, moving northeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Otero
County.

This includes Highway 54 in New Mexico between mile markers 11 and
21.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
