...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN GRANT COUNTY
THROUGH 230 PM MDT...

At 204 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fierro, moving south at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bayard, Cobre, Hanover, Fierro, Mimbres, Santa Clara, Fort Bayard,
Georgetown, and Bear Canyon Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
