Colder and windier for the Extreme Cold Watch for Monday night through Tuesday morning, dangerously cold wind chills 10 to 15 degrees below zero over area mountains and 5 degrees below zero to 5 degrees across the lowlands possible. * WHERE...Sacramento Mountains, Otero Mesa, East Central Tularosa Basin/Alamogordo, Southeast Tularosa Basin, Northern Hudspeth Highlands/Hueco Mountains, Salt Basin, and Southern Hudspeth Highlands. * WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 9 AM MST this morning. For the Extreme Cold Watch, from Monday evening through Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
