.DISCUSSION...

High pressure over the area continues to keep rain and thunderstorm
activity almost absent over the region, by keeping the area dry
and stable. However we will see increased fair weather mid and high
level clouds move in from the north. Portions of the Gila may see a
few afternoon storms. Temperatures will continue a few degrees warmer
than normal. Relative humidity will be low, dipping into the upper
teens and lower 20 percent range. However, lighter winds will keep
fire danger relatively low. This scenario repeats again for Monday.
Tuesday the upper high drifts east, and allows moisture to return.
We will begin seeing increasing clouds and RH, along with lower
temperatures. This also means better chances for scattered rain and
storms widespread across the region for much of next week.
