.DISCUSSION...
A disturbance migrating the Desert Southwest will bring wind
shifts, cooler air, and light precipitation today. The front will
cause westerly to southwesterly winds to shift to the northwest by
afternoon/early evening. Afternoon gusts of 35 to 45 MPH can be
expected. Humidity will be improved and above critical thresholds
for all areas except Hudspeth County. Precipitation will favor
western and northern zones with isolated to scattered coverage and
light intensity. Widespread wetting rainfall is not likely but
the peaks of the Gila and Sacramento Mountains may see localized
totals around 0.10". Lightning cannot be ruled out with more
robust cells. Dry weather will take hold in the wake of the
system, with low double and single digit humidity amongst light
winds for the remainder of the forecast period.
