.DISCUSSION...
Fire danger remains low as min RHs stay above critical thresholds
at 20-30% in the lowlands at 35-60% in the mountains each day
through Saturday. 20 foot winds remain light each afternoon at
5-10 mph and light drainage winds overnight. Expect a gradual ramp
up of thunderstorm activity the next few days. Today will be very
similar to what we saw yesterday. Friday will feature numerous storms
in the mountains and scattered storms elsewhere. Saturday will be
similar to Friday, perhaps a slight uptick in activity. Storms will
be capable of heavy rainfall leading to flooding, especially over recent
burn scars. This is especially true over the weekend and early next week.
