...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MENDOCINO COUNTY
UNTIL 1230 PM PDT...

At 1209 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles south of Whitehorn, or 11 miles southwest of Richardson Grove
State Park, moving southwest at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Mainly rural areas of Northwestern Mendocino County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
