.DISCUSSION...Latest radar reflectivity imagery and surfaces
observations depicts light to moderate rainfall, with rain rates
up to 0.15 inches this afternoon. Stratiform precipitation will be
followed by periodic light showers after 4PM local time through
Saturday. Just the high-resolution HRRR model suggest a band of
moderate shower moving over the area early Saturday morning
(around 5AM), with a rain rate up to 0.20 inches in 1 hr. The rest
of the models are persistent with rain rates less than 0.10 inch.
Additional rainfall up to half of an inch is forecast from 11AM
today through 11 AM Saturday morning. A period of relatively drier
weather with 15-30% chance for sprinkles or few hundredths of an
inch will follow in a cold airmass Saturday night and Sunday.
