.DISCUSSION...High temperatures are slightly lower today and will
be similar on Wednesday as an upper low approaches the area.
Tonight this upper low moves over the area and may bring a
thunderstorm or two to Humboldt, Del Norte or Trinity counties.
Confidence is very low on these thunderstorms. The marine layer
will likely deepen with the low moving closer tonight and Tuesday
nights. Much warmer temperatures are likely Thursday into the
weekend, with triple digits likely in most of the interior along
with a shallow marine layer. RH recoveries slightly worsen later
in the week, with Max RH in the 40s and 50s in the eastern
portions of the area.
