.DISCUSSION...Breezy east to northeast wind is expected to
increase this evening with gusts from 25 to 40 mph over the
higher terrain, especially in Del Norte and far northeast Humboldt
counties. Winds are expected to diminish Monday afternoon, but
gusty conditions will remain over Del Norte and northeastern
Humboldt into Tuesday morning. Drier airmass offshore flow will
promote poor humidity recovery values from 25 to 35 percent Monday
morning, with very poor recoveries Tuesday and Wednesday morning.
Hot temperatures from 95 to 110F, low humidity and breezy
offshore flow will promote elevated to locally critical fire
weather risks for zones 283, 276, 277, and 264 through Thursday.
