.DISCUSSION...A front moving through the area early this morning
will bring a chance of rain and thunderstorms to Del Norte and far
northern Humboldt. Slightly cooler temperatures are expected in much
of the interior today. Breezy northwest winds are possible in the
interior this afternoon and evening, especially in channeled terrain
and exposed ridges. Warmer and drier conditions are expected early
to mid next week. Min RHs drop into the teens to mid 20`s by Monday,
with moderate to poor overnight recoveries. Temperatures rise into
the 90`s for most of the interior valleys. Breezy offshore winds are
possible each night in the higher elevations, especially in Del
Norte and Siskiyou Counties.
