THE RAINFALL QUICKLY MADE UP FOR LOST TIME AND EUREKA ENDED THE MONTH NEARLY 2 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL RAINFALL. THIS WAS THE WETTEST DECEMBER SINCE 2015, HOWEVER IT WAS NOT AS WET AS THIS NOVEMBER WAS. STRONG WINDS WERE RECORDED ON THE 13TH WITH GUSTS TO 48 MPH ON WOODLEY ISLAND. THIS WAS THE STRONGEST GUST REPORTED IN EUREKA SINCE JANUARY OF 2023. $$
