.DISCUSSION...
Very cold temperatures are expected through Friday morning as a
reinforcing cold front moves through the region this evening.
By Thursday afternoon, the strongest north to northwest winds will be
diminishing, with speeds of 5 to 15 mph expected by late
afternoon and early evening. Winds will continue to diminish quickly
after sunset, with mainly light and variable winds during the evening
and overnight. By Friday morning, south winds are expected to become
established, with speeds increasing to around 10 mph by late morning.
A few gusts to 20 mph may occur Friday afternoon.
Minimum relative humidity each afternoon should be around 35
to 40 percent, with recovery to around 65 or 70 percent during the
overnight hours. No precipitation is expected through the end of
the work week.
