Fire Weather Planning Forecast For NE Kansas/NW Missouri
National Weather Service Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO
320 AM CDT Sun Oct 12 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Southerly wind gusts will increase to 25 to 30 mph today and
coupled with dry fuels will create slightly elevated fire weather
concerns despite relative humidity values well above critical
thresholds. Tonight into Monday a cold front will sag into the
area allowing gusty winds to subside and bring a chance for
scattered showers which will keep fire weather concerns low.
