Fire Weather Planning Forecast For NE Kansas/NW Missouri
National Weather Service Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO
236 AM CDT Sat Apr 19 2025

.DISCUSSION...
High pressure across the Northern Plains will bring a brief
reprieve to the rain across the region today; however, a boundary
near I 44 will begin to lift north tonight towards the I70
corridor leading to rain expanding from south to north. Low
pressure across the southern plains will build north into the
central US tomorrow leading to showers and thunderstorms. Drier
conditions are expected on Monday before more unsettled conditions
return mid-week.
