* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Western Jackson County in east central Iowa...
  Cedar County in east central Iowa...
  Northern Scott County in east central Iowa...
  Southeastern Jones County in east central Iowa...
  Northern Muscatine County in east central Iowa...
  Clinton County in east central Iowa...

* Until 500 PM CDT.

* At 358 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Cedar Bluff to near Nichols, moving northeast at 55
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Davenport, Maquoketa, Tipton, West Branch, Durant, Mechanicsville,
  Stanwood, Eldridge, DeWitt, West Liberty, Wilton, Bellevue,
  Walcott, Long Grove, Lowden, Wheatland, Grand Mound, Delmar, Oxford
  Junction, and Lost Nation.

This includes Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 254 and 290.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
