...Patchy Dense Fog This Morning...

Shallow fog has developed across portions of eastern Iowa and
northwest Illinois. The fog could become locally dense with
visibilities down to a quarter mile, mainly near river valleys
and in other low lying locations. Visibilities will improve by 9
AM as temperatures warm up and the fog dissipates.

Motorists should slow down and exercise caution as visibilities
may change suddenly over very short distances.
