...Strong and Gusty Winds Are Possible Through Early Afternoon...

Gusty south and west winds, with gusts of 40 to 55 MPH are
possible on the north and east side of dissipating thunderstorms
late this morning into the early afternoon in southeast Iowa, west
central Illinois and far northeast Missouri. This may also result
in sudden changes in wind direction near these showers and
storms. Use extra caution while driving, especially if operating
a high profile vehicle.
