Late Friday afternoon and through the mid evening hours, severe thunderstorms are possible with damaging winds and a few tornadoes the main threats. Large hail is also possible. Wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will be possible on Saturday, especially in Illinois. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. $$
