This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

There is a chance for thunderstorms along the Highway 20 corridor
early this morning, mainly east of Dubuque. The primary threat is
lightning.

Hot and humid conditions are expected today with peak heat indices
between 95 to 100 degrees.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

Scattered thunderstorms are expected Saturday afternoon into
Saturday night. There is a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) for a few
severe storms with the primary threats being isolated damaging
winds and torrential downpours which could lead to localized flash
flooding.

There are occasional chances for thunderstorms through next week,
but it is too early to assess the risk for severe storms.
