This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A cold front will approach the area by Thursday night bringing
scattered showers and thunderstorms to the area. Severe storms
are possible on Thursday during the late afternoon and evening.
The Storm Prediction Center has a Slight or level 2 of 5 Risk for
portions of eastern Iowa, west of a Dyersville to Cedar Rapids to
Sigourney line. A Marginal or level 1 out of 5 Risk of severe
storms exists west of a Stockton, Illinois to Davenport, Iowa to
Kahoka, Missouri line. Large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes
are the primary threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

The probability of widespread hazardous weather is low.

Spotter activation may be needed late Thursday afternoon and
evening.
