A very humid air mass may result in hourly rainfall rates between 1 to 3 inches from the strongest storms and lead to areas of flash flooding. The heavy rain may exacerbate any ongoing river flooding or lead to new flooding on area rivers. A Flood Watch remains in effect through early Monday afternoon. Also for late this afternoon into tonight, the Storm Prediction Center has a Slight Risk for severe storms for much of the area, with the primary threat damaging winds. Area rivers are experiencing flooding.
