An additional half inch to an inch possible tonight over the northern Thumb as lake effect snow showers develop. Winds increase late this morning with gusts up to around 45mph through this afternoon. A Wind Advisory is in effect for all southeast Michigan from 11AM to 5PM. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Lake effect snow showers over the northern and eastern portions of the Thumb Saturday morning. Accumulations of a half inch to and inch forecast. There is some uncertainty in how persistent these bands are, ie staying mostly offshore or lingering over the Thumb.
