Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Michigan
National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI
309 AM EDT Mon Sep 30 2024

.DISCUSSION...Relatively moist easterly flow will persist today
between high pressure north and east of the Great Lakes and
dissipating low pressure over Kentucky and lead to minimum RH values
of 60 percent or more for many locations. A cold front is then
forecast to cross the region on Tuesday, bringing a chance of
showers and a few thunderstorms. Cooler temperatures will then ensue
on Wednesday with drier conditions bringing minimum RH values below
50 percent through the midweek period.
