Light snow is moving across central Iowa this morning with light snow accumulations around an inch still possible east and southeast. Light snow and flurries will persist through mid to late morning in these areas. Despite the light snow amounts, roadways have become snow covered and slick resulting in the first winter weather driving conditions of this season. This continues to impact the morning commute so allow for extra time to reach your destination safely and use extra caution if traveling this morning. Several crashes have been reported and be aware of slowing traffic patterns through this morning; especially in urban areas where traffic volumes are highest. $$ REV
