...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN EMMET AND
NORTHWESTERN KOSSUTH COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM CDT...

At 401 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles east of Swan Lake, or 15 miles east of Estherville, moving east
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Armstrong, Bancroft, Swea City, and Ringsted.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
north central and northwestern Iowa.
