...Patchy Dense Fog Over Portions of Central Iowa...

Fog is developing along and north of Interstate 80; mainly east of
I35 this evening along the I80 corridor. Patchy dense fog will
occur in the I80 corridor for a few hours prior to lifting north
overnight as a warm front moves over Iowa. A Dense Fog Advisory
has been issued for areas along US30 and north for the expected
longer duration of dense fog overnight.

If traveling this evening or into the morning commute, please be
prepared for lower visibility to 1/4 mile or less and in some
places only a few blocks. Allow extra time to reach your destination
safely and be especially cautious at intersections and railroad
crossings. The dense fog may affect the morning commute along and
north of Highway 18 in far northern Iowa, where the fog is
expected to last longer into the early morning hours.
