Today:

An extremely pleasant day is in store across the state. Yesterday`s
northwest winds ushered in a cooler and drier air mass, which will
yield highs in the 70s today, ample sunshine, and generally light
winds. All in all, a great day to enjoy some time outside if you can.
Especially considering the workweek forecast...

Tonight and beyond:

Pleasant conditions continue tonight with clear skies and low dropping
into the 50s, but then quickly give way to unsettled weather with
fluctuating temperatures and multiple opportunities for showers,
storms, and potential severe weather. The first round moves through
Monday afternoon and evening, with the best chances for strong to
severe storms over western areas. Tuesday will see southerly winds
quick ramp temperatures back up into the 80s along with dew points in
the 70s returning. That combination will help set the table for the
current slight risk for severe storms Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Into the middle of the week additional chances for showers and storms
move through, though details begin to get hazier. Temperatures are
expected to ease off of Tuesday peaks, but remain a bit on the humid
side.
