.Warm, dry, and breezy conditions will combine to create a
critical fire weather danger on Monday across portions of southern
into central Iowa. Fires have the potential to spread rapidly.

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 8 PM CDT MONDAY FOR
CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS IN SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL IOWA...

The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from noon to 8 PM CDT Monday. The
Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* AFFECTED AREA...Parts of southern into central Iowa.

* WIND...Southwest winds at 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35
  mph.

* HUMIDITY...Falling to a minimum of 20 to 25% in the afternoon.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
