...NWS Damage Survey for 06/26/25 Tornado Event...

On June 26th, a severe thunderstorm produced a tornado in far
northeast Humboldt County, beginning just to the south/southeast
of Lu Verne. The first damage indicators were sustained to an
outbuilding and hardwood trees at a homestead southeast of town.
The tornado remained on the ground traveling east/northeast
through a corn field for approximately 2 miles as evident from
Humboldt County Emergency Management Agency provided drone
footage. No additional damage was noted.
