The NOAA Weather Radio transmitter WXK-84 at Fort Dodge Iowa is off
the air due to a communications or hardware failure. Technicians have
been notified and the expected return time is by noon on Friday.

The Fort Dodge NOAA Weather Radio broadcasts on Channel 1...or a
frequency of 162.400 MHz...and services the following counties in
Iowa...Boone...Calhoun...Hamilton...Humboldt...Pocahontas...Webster...
and Wright.

Neighboring transmitters that service some of these counties include
KWN-47 at Storm Lake broadcasting on Channel 3 or 162.450 MHz...WNG-
688 at Ringsted broadcasting on Channel 4 or 162.475 MHz...KJY-63 at
