...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 25 to 35 mph with widespread gusts 40 to 45
  mph, and gusts 50 mph or more possible north.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, northeast, northwest,
  south central, and west central Iowa.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Dry conditions have also created critical to
  near critical fire weather conditions. A Red Flag Warning is also
  in effect for most of the area along and south of the Highway 3
  corridor. Please see that product for more details.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Open burning is discouraged.
