This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

While there may be a few weak showers or storms this morning, shower
and storm development is forecasted later this afternoon into
tonight. A few strong to severe storms will be possible during the
late afternoon to early evening, mainly in the north half of the
state, with the primary hazards of hail, gusty winds, and perhaps
locally heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A few storms may develop over northeast or east central Iowa
Thursday afternoon. Additional storm chances are forecast at
times from Friday into the Independence Day holiday weekend. The
severe or heavy rainfall risk will continue to be assessed over
the coming days.
