This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Breezy southwesterly winds with warm and dry conditions may lead
to elevated fire weather concerns on Monday, primarily in areas
where the snow has melted.

A large system looks to move through the area Friday into
Saturday, bringing the potential for gusty winds and
thunderstorms. Some of these storms could be strong to severe,
especially in eastern Iowa. More details will be provided in the
coming days.
