This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

A few storms may near northwestern Iowa toward sunrise Wednesday
morning, but severe weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Additional shower and storm development is forecasted Wednesday
afternoon, lingering into early Thursday morning. Isolated strong
to severe storms will be possible during the afternoon to early
evening Wednesday, mainly in the north half of the state, with the
primary hazards of hail, gusty winds, and locally heavy rainfall.

Additional storm chances are forecast at times from Friday into
the weekend. The severe or heavy rainfall risk Friday into this
weekend will continue to be assessed over the coming days.
