This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

A Winter Weather Advisory for blowing snow is in effect for the
area through noon today. Please refer to the National Weather
Service website at weather.gov/desmoines for further details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Bitter cold is expected early this week, with morning lows in the
single digits and feels like temperatures near to below zero,
especially in northern Iowa.

Additional snow is likely Monday, with light accumulations north
to potentially moderate accumulations south.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed, however snow reports are
always appreciated.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Strong northwest winds will gust to near 35 MPH at times this
morning, causing patchy blowing snow that may prolong travel
difficulties from the recent heavy snowfall. These conditions will
improve as winds gradually abate today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Bitter cold is expected early this week, with morning lows in the
single digits and feels like temperatures near to below zero,
especially in northern Iowa.

Additional snow is likely Monday, with light accumulations north
to potentially moderate accumulations south.
