...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS EXPIRED...

Accumulating snow and widespread blowing snow has ended. Therefore,
the Winter Weather Advisory was allowed to expire. Scattered snow
showers and areas of blowing snow will be possible tonight with
accumulations up to half an inch.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST THURSDAY
FOR IRON COUNTY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow expected for Iron County. Additional
  snow accumulations from 4 to 8 inches in northern Iron County and
  2 to 5 inches in southern Iron County. Winds gusting as high as 45
  mph will create areas of blowing snow.

* WHERE...Iron County. This includes the Tribal Lands of the
  northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing snow
  could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could bring
  down tree branches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. Call 5 1 1 or visit

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 5
  inches for east-central Ashland County with lesser amounts
  elsewhere. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph will lead to areas of
  blowing snow.

* WHERE...Ashland County. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Bad
  River Reservation. Recreation spots such as Madeline Island.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Gusty winds could
  bring down tree branches.
