...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM FRIDAY TO 1 AM CDT
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
  accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations up to two
  tenths of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph near Lake
  Superior.

* WHERE...Carlton, South and Central St. Louis, Cook and Lake
  Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Fond du Lac Band,
  the Grand Portage Reservation and the Bois Forte Band, Lake
  Vermilion area. This also includes the Boundary Waters eastern and
  central area.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Friday to 1 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
  conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday
  morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The greatest ice accumulations are expected
  across Lake and Cook counties inland from Lake Superior.

* WHERE...Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas, and Iron Counties. This
  includes the Tribal Lands of the Bad River Reservation, the
  northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band and the Red Cliff
  Band. Other locations including Madeline Island and the Apostle
  Islands National Lakeshore.

* WHEN...From 7 PM Friday to 7 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
  conditions.

  the Boundary Waters western area.
