...NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY FOR PORTIONS OF
NORTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA...

Dry conditions and warm temperatures will lead to near critical
fire weather conditions today in the Brainerd Lakes region north
through the Chippewa National Forest and Koochiching county.
Minimum relative humidity values of 25 to 35 percent and warm
daytime high temperatures in the low 80s are forecast. South
winds of 5 to 10 mph with gusts to around 15 mph are expected
this afternoon. Together, these conditions could lead to the
rapid spread of fires. Check burning restrictions and fire danger
before burning.
