Frost Advisories and Freeze Watches and Warnings for northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin, issued by the National Weather
Service Forecast Office in Duluth, MN, have ended for the 2024
growing season as of yesterday, Tuesday, October 8, 2024.

A widespread killing freeze occurred over the past week over much
of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. October 8 is also
past the average first freeze date across this area. Therefore we
decided to end the Frost and Freeze Program for 2024.

Frost Advisories and Freeze Watches and Warnings will resume
during the late spring of 2025.
