...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST THURSDAY FOR
SOUTHERN COOK COUNTY...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
  expected for southern Cook County.

* WHERE...Southern Cook County. This includes the Tribal Lands of
  the Grand Portage Reservation.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds may blow down trees and is expected to
  impact power lines. Power outages are expected. Travel will be
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Localized
  reductions in visibility to less than 1 mile on roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Recent snowfall is expected to result in
  areas of blowing snow. These conditions may result in visibilities
  less than 1 mile on roadways.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must
drive.

Do not pick up or drive over any downed power lines.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CST THURSDAY FOR MUCH
OF NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph for
  much of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

* WHERE...In Minnesota, Carlton and South St. Louis, Central St.
  Louis, Northern Cook and Lake, and Southern Lake Counties. In
  Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield, and Douglas Counties. This includes
  the Tribal Lands of the Red Cliff Band, the Bois Forte Band, Lake
  Vermilion area, the Bad River Reservation and the Fond du Lac
  Band. Recreation spots such as the Apostle Islands National
  Lakeshore and Madeline Island. This also includes the Boundary
  Waters eastern and central area.

* WHEN...Until 3 AM CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
