At 531 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,
capable of producing winds of 20 to 30 knots. This thunderstorm was
located 7 nm north of Herbster, or 36 nm east of Duluth Lift Bridge
Channel, moving east at 15 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Raspberry Island, Castle Danger, Sand Island, Sugar Loaf Cove, Twin
Points Safe Harbor, Siskwit Bay, Apostle Island Sea Caves, Beaver
Bay, Two Harbors Protected Access Agate Bay, Maikwe Bay, Herbster,
Meyers Beach, Bark Bay, York Island, Split Rock Lighthouse, Eagle
Island, Port Wing Harbor, Bark Point, Silver Bay Marina and Ore Dock,
and Sand Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds 20 to 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
