This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

While not immediately likely, dry conditions and breezy winds may
lead to near-critical fire weather conditions today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Dry conditions and gusty winds may lead to near-critical fire
weather conditions on Wednesday. These conditions could lead to
the rapid spread of fires. Check burning restrictions and fire
danger before burning.

There is a potential for widespread frost for much of the
Northland and a patchy freeze in the Minnesota Arrowhead for
Thursday night into Friday morning.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Strong west to northwest winds of 10 to 20 knots with gusts up to
30 knots early this morning will gradually weaken today, but will
create hazardous conditions to small craft until this evening. A
Small Craft Advisory is in effect until this evening.

Winds will increase tonight out of the southwest, leading to
increasing wave heights and creating hazardous conditions for
small craft.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Gusty southwest winds strengthen more on Wednesday, becoming
strongest during the morning to early afternoon at 15 to 30 knots
with gusts of 30 to 40 knots and waves reaching 3 to 10 feet, with
hazardous conditions likely to continue. A Gale Watch has been
issued for Wednesday morning and afternoon where the potential for
gale-force wind gusts is greatest. This includes portions of the
South Shore east of Port Wing and for Grand Marias to Grand
Portage.
