This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorms will move southeast through the Twin Ports, I-35
Corridor, and central Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin this
morning. The morning storms may produce small hail and wind gusts
to 40 mph.

Another round of storms is forecast this afternoon and tonight. A
few storms may be strong to severe, particularly from central
Minnesota east into northwest Wisconsin. Ping pong ball size hail,
frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, wind gusts of 40 to 60 mph,
and torrential rainfall which may lead to localized minor flooding
are possible with the strongest storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Patchy frost is possible Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights.

Skywarn spotters may be needed this afternoon and tonight.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

There is a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms over the southwest
arm and along the waters of the South Shore this morning. Severe
weather is not expected with the first round of storms.

A second round of storms is forecast this afternoon through
tonight as a cold front moves through the region. A few storms may
be strong to severe with large hail, frequent cloud-to-water
lightning, and wind gusts of 35 to 50 knots are possible with the
strongest storms.

Winds will veer northwesterly tonight and winds will strengthen
behind the cold front. Gusts up to 25 knots are likely and a Small
Craft Advisory is in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Gusty north and northwest winds are forecast over western Lake
Superior Wednesday through the end of the week. Conditions will be
hazardous to smaller vessels at times through Saturday.

There is a small risk of waterspouts Wednesday and Thursday.
